Thanks so much to each and every one of you who left a comment and said so many kind things about our Peachy Keen Blog Hop. It was great, and I can't wait till the next one!!!
Now that our winner has been chosen, we can get down to business with the projects I have to share with you today. I've been busy, busy, busy creating away, and here are three completed projects for ya.
This little sea otter is so darned adorable, and was cut using the Sea Otter die by Cottage Cutz, which is available at The Scrapping Cottage. I cut him out with white card stock and colored him with my Copics. The oval behind little Mr. Otter is blinged up with some Dazzling Diamonds, and I used pearls as embellishments on the corners and around the oval. The patterned paper is from K&Co.'s Citronella collection.
My second project is a layout I did last week, using the Mini Baseball die by Cottage Cutz. I cut the baseballs with the die, then stamped the monster faces with the Make A Monster face stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. You see there's a story behind this page, as there is every page. This picture was taken when my oldest son (now 26) was playing little league baseball, and the page is inspired by the first "real" home run he ever hit. His dad was coaching third base, and when he hit that homer, I'm pretty sure his dad ran the bases with him because he was so excited. I was in the dugout keeping score, and Tyler came running in to the dugout yelling "MOM... Did you see that monster of a home run I hit!" Well, of course I saw it!! I was jumping up and down like a crazy woman and yelling louder than the rest of them! It was awesome for all of us, and a wonderful memory to preserve. The sentiments on both the above projects are computer generated.
My final layout for today is this cute little 6x6 page that I created using the Picnic Ant and Ant Mini dies from The Scrapping Cottage. I kept this one pretty simple, adding only the pennant , which I cut by hand for the Picnic Fun sentiment. The paper for this one is actually from a Daisy D's Christmas paper pad, but the red checked paper was definitely needing to be used for this picnic page. Now all I have to do is find a picture to pop on there, and I'll be good to go.
I'm so happy you could drop by today. I wish you a blessed day and relaxing holiday weekend filled with lots of fun, and especially happy stamping!
Love ya,
