Good morning! Welcome to the first CottageCutz Blog Hop of 2012! We're so glad you could join us for the hop. Grab your favorite beverage, sit back, relax, and enjoy some fabulous paper crafted creations using the amazing CottageCutz dies. If you're hopping along in the listed order, you should have arrived here from The Scrapping Cottage Blog, but if you just happened along, then you'll definitely want to go back and start there so you don't miss a thing!
I have a card to share with you today that features the beautiful CottageCutz Filigree Butterfly Trio and Circles w/Eyelet dies from The Scrapping Cottage. These intricate and beautiful dies are so easy to work with, and they cut like a dream! I created the paper I used to cut these beauties using a technique I found HERE. I used yellow, and lavender shades of ink to match this gorgeous K&Co. patterned paper.
I hand crocheted the bottom lace border, using the Sharp Crochet Hook, and for bling, I added some dazzling diamonds to the butterflies, pearl flourishes, pearl strands, and ribbon.
Here's a closer look that shows off the sparkle of the dazzling diamonds glitter on the butterlies. They are SO pretty IRL! The sentiment, which goes so perfectly with this card comes from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Everyday Miracles clear stamp set.
Your next stop on this hop is at the amazing and so incredibly talented Cindy Haffner's Blog.
