CottageCutz Recipe Card/Oldies But Goodies Blog Hop

Good morning!  I'm getting double duty out of my post today, because I'm combining my CottageCutz project with the Oldies But Goodies Blog hop.  I have a cute little recipe card to share with you, as well as a video.  So without further Ado...

Welcome to the Oldies But Goodies Blog Hop for May!  If you've arrived here from the talented Maria Matter's Blog, they you are on the right track, but if you just happened along, then please go back to her blog and begin from there so you don't miss anything.   Each month, members of the Design Divas Facebook Group join together to bring you a fabulous blog hop, and the theme is "Oldies, But Goodies".  To qualify as an OBG project, we must create something using an item that's been in our stash but have not used for 6 months or more.   For my project, I pulled out my CottageCutz dies from the In The Kitchen release.  I haven't played with these for quite some time, and it was fun to work with them again.  Here is my card using my "Oldie But Goodie" Homemade Tag CottageCutz die from The Scrapping Cottage.  I also used the Napkin & Decorative Teaspoon, and the Strawberry Mini dies from the April 2012 Tea Party release.
(Just click on the picture to enlarge it and read the recipe.)
The paper that I used is from My Mind's Eye Life of the Party Collection.  The strawberries were cut with white card stock and colored with Copic markers, and you can see the video tutorial below as to how I colored those and what colors I used.  The edges of the tag, and napkin was sponged with chocolate chip classic ink from Stampin Up!   I cut the spoons out with metallic silver paper, and shaded the inside of them with a series of cool gray Copic markers ranging in color from C3-C9.  This recipe is so easy, and is it ever YUMMY!  Such an easy and delicious way to make strawberry shortcake!!

Your next stop on this hop will be at Vicki Pantrac's Blog.  I know she's got something amazing to share with you.  There's a complete list of stops for this hop below, in case you get lost along the way.  Have fun and enjoy the hop!  I'm so glad you could join us today!

Have a blessed and beautiful day and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

That recipe is absolutely stunning. The coloring is fabulous the design inspired. I think I'm going to have to look into cutting cottage dies.
