I created this sweet little patriotic card using The Patriotic Outhouse stamp , and Let Freedom Ring from Impression Obsession, and I paired it with some GREAT product from Flower Soft.
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card, and colored with Copic Markers. For the flowers I used a mixture of two different Flower Soft sprinkles, as well as Flower Soft glue. The first layer for the flowers was done with Flower Soft Ultra Fine in Citrus Crush color, and after that dried for a few minutes, I added some Flower Soft Spring color in just a few places right over the top of the Citrus Crush. I like mixing the two textures for a very full and almost dimensional look. I also added a little bit of Flower Soft Tree Textures to the tiny trees around the barn and house in the image.
Here's a little closer look at the detail of the Flower Soft Product. I was going for a look of Summer flowers or Marigolds.
This was sure a fun image to color, and the pop of color and texture that the Flower Soft adds makes a perfect pairing!
