Flower Soft Fabulous Fashion Launch

Good Morning!!
Welcome and Happy Friday!  I have some exciting stuff to share with you today, AND a couple of cards to go along with that exciting stuff!!  I am very happy and excited to announce that I am now a Flower Girl!!  NOT the kind of flower girl that might immediately come to mind, though.  As of today, I am one of the new Design Team Members for The Flower Soft Company!  Woohoo!  I'm so thrilled to be designing for them and using their tried and true products, as well as the many new things that they offer (or at least they are new to me)!

Today marks the launch day for their new Fabulous Fashion Collection.  There is so much in each download collection..a whopping 31 files!  The Fabulous Fashion collection covers Hats, Bags and Dresses, which coordinate perfectly with The Fabulous Shoes. Each download contains decoupage, card toppers, PNG images, quick cards, digi stamps, 6 matching backing papers and an amazing miniature shop to house your own perfectly coordinated Fabulous collection. Each shop was carefully planned by Sandra to ensure they folded flat and fit very comfortably into an 8x8 envelope. There is even a miniature shop plate that completes the back of your shop and allows you to write/stamp your message. This download collection has been created to work on USA paper sizes.  Drop by The Flower Soft Facebook Page to see what all the excitement is about!
There's a special offer of 1/2 Price downloads to celebrate the launch of this beautiful collection.  Here are two card samples I made using digital stamps from the download collection.

This digital image was colored with Copic markers.  The butterflies you see at the top of the card are acutally a Multi Function Die Cut, and I love that it adds such a beautiful pop of dimension to the finished piece.

When I saw this image, it was screaming "DENIM" to me, so I decided why not go with it and give it a worn denim look when I colored it with my Copics.  I added some white Flower Soft Ultra Fine Sprinkles to the flowers on the image for a little fun texture.  These images are HIGHLY addicting and fun to color!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you've enjoyed the things I've shared with you, and I also hope you'll drop by The Flower Soft Website and Facebook Page, just to check out all the fun products to create with.   Be sure to like their page so you'll be in on all the latest info!  Have a blessed weekend, friends and HAPPY STAMPIN!!!

SVG Cutting Files & PKS Blog Hop

GOOD MORNING!!

Welcome to Day #2 of our Blog Hop/Cross Promotion with Peachy Keen Stamps and SVG Cutting Files.  It's sure been fun, and we've enjoyed sharing all these wonderful creations with you!    Here's the card I created for today's festivities.  For this sweet card, I used the "Cute As Can Bee" cut file from SVG Cutting Files.  The base of my card is another great cut file from SVG Cutting Files, called Scalloped Open Card Base.

I am so happy with how this turned out.  For the face of this sweet little lady, I used the new PK-1200 Moodies Face Assortment stamps, and the PK-195 Honey Sentiments, both from Peachy Keen Stamps.  I cut everything with colored card stock and did some shading with both sponges and Copic markers, EXCEPT for the hair.  The hair was cut with (white) X-Press It Blending Card so that I could color and shade it with my Copics.  The honeycomb is a Sizzix embossing folder, and the paper I used for that is Core'dinations (kraft core) card stock.  I sanded the embossed edges lightly and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.   I took some patterned paper scraps and punched little hexagon shapes to fit inside the embossed hexagons, and as a backdrop for this sweet little bee, I used the same patterned paper scraps to cut a circle and scalloped circle with my Spellbinders dies.  The scalloped edge along each side of my card is done with a Stampin' Up! punch and the ribbon is also from my Stampin' Up! stash.  I finished this card off with a little bling on her antennae, and down the side of the card.  I ♥ HER and she is indeed as cute as can bee!!

Now, this wouldn't be a blog hop if we didn't have some prizes for ya, and we've got that covered!!  Both Peachy Keen Stamps and SVG Cutting Files are giving away a $35 Gift Certificate for each day of the hop!  THAT'S a total of FOUR $35 Gift Certificates that you could win!  All you need to do is leave a comment to be entered to win, but since we don't know which designer will be choosing a winner from their comments, you'll need to comment on each participating blog each day.  THAT'S pretty darned easy, though, and especially considering all the FABULOUS creations that you get to see along the way from BOTH design teams!!  Below, is a complete list of stops for Day #2 of our hop, just in case you should happen to get lost along the way.

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-17 :: Chirpity Chirp Chirp!

Good morning!

If you're looking for the Spring Fling Blog Hop, CLICK HERE.

It's FRIDAY, and it's my turn to share a project for The Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge.
This one is one of my favorites in the rotation, and that's

A SKETCH CHALLENGE!!

I can't help it.  I just LOVE sketch challenges.  I guess it's because so much of the planning process has been taken care of for me, and I can get down to the fun stuff, which is choosing paper and embellishments to top off the project.  Here's what I came up with...

I feel like my posts are a constant repeat when I start my description with "The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card...", and that's because it IS a constant repeat, but what can I say?  It is what it is, and inquiring minds want to know.   LOL!  After stamping the image with the above fore mentioned products, I colored as usual with a variety of Copic Markers.  The image comes from the PK-198 Love Birds stamp set, and the sentiments all are from the PK-196 Bird Sentiments stamp set.  Both of these are part of the mid-month release at Peachy Keen Stamps.  The card stock is Confetti Cream and Poppy Parade both from Stampin' Up!, as are the button embellishments, and the patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl collection.  I finished this piece off with a wooden flourish.

There's a whole lot more inspiration for this week's challenge over on the PKS Challenge Blog.  My DT sisters rocked this sketch, so be sure and check their work out.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a blessed and beautiful day, and happy stampin' to ya!!!

Spring Fling Blog :: Hop Day 2

Hello and welcome to The Peachy Keen Stamps Spring Fling Blog Hop!!

You should have arrived here from the very sweet and talented Raven Baca's Blog, but in case you just happened upon this post, then you're going to definitely want to go back to the beginning so that you don't miss one single crafty and inspiring creation!  It all begins on The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog, HERE.

Here's the card I created for this Spring themed hop!

For this one, I used the PKSC-16 April 2013 Stamp set, and PK-195 Honey Sentiments for the "Hey Chickie" sentiment.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored this sweet chick with Copic markers.  I took the flower from the stamp of the month set and fashioned it into a fetching little skirt if I do say so myself.  Doesn't every little chickie need a skirt made of flower petals?   I love how that plan came together!!  The patterned paper is from my Basic Grey stash, and I finished this cutie off with some pearl flourish embellishments.

Your next stop on this fabulous hop is at Melissa Haas's Blog. She is super creative and talented and I know she will have something WONDERFUL to share with you!  Have fun and enjoy the hop!  Below is the complete hop order just in case you happen to get lost along the way.

Good morning!!

Well, has Spring arrived in your neck of the woods, or is Winter still hangin' on?
Around here, we seem to have a little of both, and sometimes
even in the same day!!

It's warm, then cold and rainy, and we woke up to ice... yes, you heard me right... ICE on the deck this morning!!  The sunshine has arrived, and with that the promise of a warmer day, which we are all anxiously looking forward to.

The card I have to share with you today is for my second day as Guest Blogger for Market Street Stamps Blog.  If you're not familiar with them, (which I can't imagine) then drop by their online store, www.marketstreetstamps.com where you will find so many wonderful and very unique designs to make you one happy little paper crafter.  You'll see in the product description that the quality of these stamps is unsurpassed, as they are created with the same peachy tinted polymer as Peachy Keen Stamps, and it's the highest grade photopolymer that you will find used in this industry today.  There simply is NO better quality to be found in clear stamps, and that's the fact, Jack!!   LOL!  I love Duck Dynasty!  Can you tell?  Seriously, though.  Just try a comparison yourself, and you'll see just how beautifully they stamp compared to other clear, photopolymer stamps.

Here's the card I created using the Berry Sweet and Doily stamp sets from Market Street Stamps.  These are each SO economically priced at $5.00 and a must have for all your Summer projects and so much more!!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic markers.  I stamped the doily on the four pieces of crumb cake card stock from Stampin' Up! with white craft ink from Stampin' Up! and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  The banner was made with just a strip of white card stock, and by taking my 3/4" square punch and aligning a corner of it on one end of the strip and punching, you get a perfect flag edge.  I then finished off the banner by framing it with a strip that was punched from a scalloped edge punch.  The sentiment was stamped with Stampin' Up!  cherry cobbler ink.  I finished this charming little country card off with a bit of burlap ribbon and some flat backed pearl accents.  It's sure been fun creating projects for Market Street Stamps this week.  I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I have!!  Happy stamping, friends and thanks for dropping by!!!

Guest Blogger :: Market Street Stamps

Good afternoon my stampy friends!  What fun it is to come to you today to share a sweet little vintage inspired card that I created for my Guest Blogger spot on The Market Street Stamps Blog.   I really love this  image and it's perfect for so many wonderful occasions, but none greater than simply to say HI!.

This image and the chevron striped accents, as well as the sentiment are all part of the Riding By stamp set from Market Street Stamps.  I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored with Copic markers.  The patterned paper comes from Simple Stories Summer Fresh collection.  The chevron border along the side of the card makes a great accent and it reminds me of tire tread, which ties in with the "riding by" or bicycle theme.  The sentiment was stamped on to a piece of scrap notebook card stock and I finished this project off with a simple button tied with twine.

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you get the chance, please drop by Market Street Stamps and check out their full line of unique stamps.  They are among some of my favorite "peachy tinted" stamps, and you'll find the quality simply unsurpassed!  Have a wonderful and very blessed and happy stamping!!
