Peachy Keen Challenge :: 37

 Hello and WELCOME to The ThINKin' Spot!  I have a card to share with you that I created for the Peachy Keen Challenge #37.  DoBea has given us a great sketch to follow, so I pulled out some of my new Peachy Keen Stamps and The Peachy Picks Kit and got busy!  You can see DoBea's original sketch on The Peachy Keen Challenge Blog.  Here's a look at my take on DoBea's sketch...
The patterned paper is from the current Peachy Picks Kit, and the scarecrow comes from this month's stamp of the month club set, PKSC-09 September 2012.  For the pumpkins, fence and sentiment, I pulled out some of my favorite stamps from last year PK-647 Faceless Fall Fun.  My cute little scarecrow and pumpkins were colored with Copic Markers.

Have a Peachy Keen Halloween Blog Hop

 Hello and welcome to the LAST stop on this fun a fabby blog hop.  If you've made it this far, then you've been treated to some pretty SWEET creations!  I hope you have enjoyed it and that you've found more inspiration than you know what to do with!!  I have a couple of cards to share with you today, so I'll get right to them.

My first card was made using one of my "old favorites" in the Peachy Keen Stamps line of MANY wonderful Halloween themed images.  I made this card using PK-607A Cat in the Jack stamp set.  The patterned paper and ribbon is part of the September Peachy Picks Kit.  To keep perfectly coordinated card stock, patterned paper, and embellishments coming to your door every month, sign up today for the Peachy Picks Kit!  You'll be glad you did!!   I stamped this cutie with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment comes from the PK-131 Happy Haunting Ghosts stamp set, and the pearl flourishes can be found at PKS, as well.

For my second card, I used one of the new Halloween Holler stamps, illustrated by Steve yarbrough.  This one is SY-908 Halloween Holler Mummy Man, and he's just the cutest little mummy EVER!!  The tag, card stock, ribbon and patterned paper are again, from the wonderful Peachy Picks Kit.  For the sentiment, I pulled out the new Stamp of the Month set, PKSC-09 September 2012 and stamped the flourish and sentiment..

CottageCutz :: Happy Halloween Puppy

 Good morning, CottageCutz fans!  I hope this beautiful Sunday is treating you well.  Welcome to The ThINKin' Spot!  I'm  here today with my first CottageCutz Halloween card using the newest Halloween dies!  Woohoo!  This is my favorite time of year for both being outside, AND creating.  I guess it must be the weather, because it's absolutely gorgeous, as are all of the Fall colors we'll soon be enjoying!

I received some wonderful CottageCutz dies in the mail this week from the Halloween Release at The Scrapping Cottage.   Here's my card for today...

Isn't this little costumed puppy the sweetest little Halloween pup ever?
I used Basic Grey Paper and combined it with some glittery orange card stock, along with some of my favorite embellishments and ribbon.

Here's a closer look at this cutie.  I cut him out with white card stock and colored him in with Copic markers.  I didn't get a photo of my markers this time, but for the puppy, I used C1, C3, and C5,  and for the spots and hat, I used C1-C9.  The hatband is done with V01,V04, V06, and V09.  The moon and star were both colored with Y21 and shaded with Y23.  After I had this all colored, I added some sponging to the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in vinatge photo.
Now, a look at the CottageCutz dies I used with direct links to find them in the store.

Angelica's Fond Farewell Blog Hop

Good morning friends, and welcome to Angelica's Fond Farewell Blog Hop. Angelica Suarez has served as the Design Team/Marketing coordinator for Peachy Keen Stamps, for the past three years, and as many of you may have read from her post here a few days ago, she has made the difficult decision to leave her position  at Peachy Keen for a new and exciting job opportunity in the printing industry, which is near and dear to her heart. It's a bittersweet celebration for us, as we are sad to see her go, but we know that she will be a tremendous success in this new venture, and we couldn't be happier for her.

It is for this reason that those of us who have been blessed to work with Angelica have come together to bid her a fond farewell and share some special creations that we have made to let her know how much she means to us, how much we have enjoyed working with her, how much we are going to miss her, and that we wish her all the best!

We are so happy that you could join us for this special event!

You should have arrived here from the amazingly talented Samantha Casey's Blog, but if you just happened upon this post, then you're going to want to go back to the beginning to The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog so that you don't miss one fabulous creation.

I thought and thought about the card I was going to create for Angelica and I had such a mixed bag of emotions about it.  On one had, I'm so very happy for her and this opportunity with  her career, BUT on the other hand, my first reaction to hearing the news that she'll be leaving Peachy Keen was sad, and by that I mean sad for me, because I'm sure gonna miss her!  She has shown tremendous leadership, diplomacy, kindness  and grace serving as our DT Coordinator.  She has been a wonderful motivator, and she has nurtured and encouraged us both personally and professionally.  It has been a wonderful three years, and again... I'm sure gonna miss her!!  Here's my card for Angelica using the Misty Sue and Colby Cheer Up stamp set.
 I colored the image with Copics, and combined patterned paper from my stash with that fancy bling (found at PKS), some Stampin' Up! ribbon, and I even did some faux stitching around the circle.  As of Monday, this will be on the way to its intended just to let her know that yes... I'll say it again...  I MISS YOU!!!!

Now, as long as you're hopping along with us today, I hope you're taking a moment to leave comments for our designers, BECAUSE four of our designers, but we don't know which four, will be giving away a $20 Gift Certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps.  You'll increase your chance of winning if you make sure you comment on each blog, and please be sure to leave a comment for Angelica and wish her well on the PKS Blog.  Winners will be randomly chosen and announced on the PKS Blog on Tuesday evening.

Thank you so very much for stopping by today!  I'm the last stop on this hop, and I hope you've enjoyed the creations from the heart that you've seen.  Below, please find the complete hop order, just in case you missed a stop, OR in case you'd like to go back and check it all out again.

I'm gonna miss ya!!
