It's been a few days since my last post, and I've really missed not having something to share with you, but I've had a bad case of the winter blahs, blues, whim whams...whatever you want to call it. I've had it, and I hate it! It's a beautiful sunny day today, so maybe that's helping to bring me out of my slump. Do you ever feel the need to be queen for a day? I'm thinking that would be just the ticket for the winter blahs. I've had this Toad King image from Dog Gone Stamps colored up for quite a while, but I hadn't decided what to do with it, and when I stumbled upon the Queen For A Day sentiment from the SU Taggers Dozen set, I knew my Toad King was soon to become a "Toad Queen". With the addition of some eyelashes, and some Regal Rose lips, this lovely lady was born!! I just love the look on her face. She looks so content to be the center of attention on this card, or anywhere for that matter. I used my SU inks to watercolor this image, and although it's doesn't clearly show in the picture, I used some Stickles on the wings of the flies on her crown. I'm pretty happy with the turn this image took, and I just can't get enough of those big sexy eyes.
