Halloween Treat Recipe Challenge

Good morning!! WOW! Tuesday has rolled around again, and I haven't posted in a week!! So sorry about that, but I've been seriously fighting a nasty bout of flu/bronchial pneumonia/sinus infection, and it's REALLY had me down! I haven't even felt like stamping! That's just how sick I've been!!!! I'm starting to feel almost human again, but I don't have much stamina. Hopefully I'll be back to my old self in a few more days. I did manage to finish my recipe card for this week, and I made it easy on myself. I drew out this jack-0-lantern by hand, and added the cute little spider for my Halloween Treat Recipe. The polka dot paper and spider complete with googly eyes came from Julie at the Scrapbook Store at Your Door.
I mounted yellow paper behind my cut outs, and coated them with a layer of Tim Holtz distress stickles. This is a very simple pocket page, and I have to admit lots of fun, even if I wasn't feeling 100%.
Please stop by the Recipe Challenge Blog to see what fabulous treats the rest of the design team has in store for you! There's never a shortage of inspiration there. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I wish you a healthy and blessed day!

Love ya!

What an ADORABLE idea! And I know it's unusual to say this, but I LOVE that Spider!! What a fun layout for this recipe!

Hey sweetie! Boy, that cold's got nothing on you when it comes to the power of your mojo! This is soooo cute! I don't dare tackle projects like this (moving parts) on my best days. The pumpkin is adorable! You are super-duper talented, my friend! How long before you start your own line of digis?????
Take it easy & get better.
Hugs,

How clever are you.. I LOVE this.. I really like the way you placed your recipe behind the pumpkin as a pull out.. This doesn't look easy at all.. Super job.. I can't believe you hand drew it.. Feel better soon..hugs.

I hope you are feeling Miss Lorie. I know I couldn't create like this feeling bad. I'm think I'm at the tale end of my cold. It is about freekin' time as I've been dealing with it for nearly two weeks. Colds really zap your energy.
