CHA Fun!

Hellooooooo!  Is anyone out there?  It's sure been lonely in here lately, hasn't it?  Thought maybe I'd better drop by my severely neglected blog and share what's been going on around here.  It's been a whirlwind of "busy-ness"  since the holidays, and it's driving me NUTS that I haven't had much time for creating or posting lately, but that's something I vow to change.  I NEED to be creating and crafting.  I just feel lost without it, and after a WONDERFUL week in California at CHA, I'm inspired and ready to get down to business!!  Here are a few photos of what I've been up to, and I might even find a creation or two to share.  :-)

First of all, THIS little munchkin keeps us busy, and thoroughly entertained!

Secondly, THIS one who came along in mid-September just melts our hearts. He keeps us hoppin', too!  Doesn't Studio Eleven take some FABULOUS pictures?
Right after Christmas, both daughter-in-laws took me to St. Louis to the
Fabulous Fox Theater to see...

WICKED!

It was nothing less than SPECTACULAR!!  LOVED IT!!!  One of the best Christmas presents and girls day out I've ever had and I can't wait to do it again!

Just a few days after the St. Louis trip, and while still on my "Wicked" high, it was time to pack up and head to sunny and not so warm California.  First for a Copic workshop...
This workshop was a two-day group of classes taught by Cindy Lawrence, Sherrie Siemens, Colleen Schaan, and Debbie Olson, and oh my goodness!  Are they EVER fabulous at what they do.  It was a wonderful class and experience and I was so thrilled to be a part of that first class.  Kathy and I sat with some very talented ladies and it was great to get to know them.

THEN, it was on to CHA!
I enjoyed the gorgeous palm trees while in California!  These were in front of the convention center at the CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Trade Show.  While walking the show floor, we got to see all the new lines that will be available for Spring, and it was great to get to meet some of those who to this point we've only known via the internet.

Photo op with Theresa (aka The Scrapbooking Queen).

Another photo op and this time with Tim Holtz.

Strolling down the street in Long Beach, CA.

Love the quaintness of Seal Beach, CA.

 More of Seal Beach's quaintness.
...and more.
FINALLY!  The beach!!

Well, as you can see, it's been busy, and I've sure missed my crafting time.  I did manage to fit in at least one crafty creation, but I have a BUNCH of images colored and ready to go onto cards.  That is in my plan for the next few days, so I WILL be back with more to share!  Here's my card from the last Peachy Keen Stamps release...
If you haven't seen the new Teddy Bear themed stamps at Peachy Keen Stamps, then you're really missing out!  Our Mini release from last week is a dandy, too.  You can find them all at www.peachykeenstamps.com!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I promise I'll be back soon with more crafty goodness!  Have a blessed and beautiful day and HAPPY STAMPING!!

The happy baby photo is wonderful. And your adventure appears to have been very productive. I also appreciate the tranquil beach image. I, too, blog about creativity. If you wish to take a look, I hope you will. If not, kindly pardon this tiny intrusion. Peace and all good things for you in scrapping and in life. Sincerely,

Diane

What a wonderful few weeks you have had! The grandbabies are precious, the gifted show sounds "wicked good" and CHA sounds "wicked awesome" and your card is "wicked cute"! (as they say around here)

Glad that you have lots of creative juices flowing to inspire the rest of us! Welcome home.

Hi Lorie! Thanks for posting again. Darling Teddy Bear image and card but more darling are those little munchkins you get to cuddle. Give them a kiss and a cuddle from me!

Wow! Sounds like you had a wonderful time in St. Louis and in L.A.! Sure wish I could have been with you. I did have the pleasure to see Wicked on Broadway while visiting my son a few years back. It's a fantastic production!
