An Easter Princess

Hello and happy Monday morning! I hope you had a teriffic weekend. Ours was a good one, spent with family and church activities. That always makes for a good weekend.
The card I'm sharing with you today is stamped with the wonderful Princess Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm. I received this stamp from my dear, sweet friend Kadie, who was giving away your choice of stamp from TGF as blog candy on her blog, and I won!! WOOHOO!! Thanks so much Kadie! I chose this adorable princess to use making cards, etc...for my nieces. I have one in particular that is VERY much in to princesses, and this card is going out to her for Easter. This little blonde Anya looks very much like my sweet niece Madisyn. The inside of the card is stamped simply with HAPPY EASTER! Don't you just love this bright and beautiful K&Co. paper? This was also a blog candy win from the very sweet and talented Lauri. I'm hoarding this gorgeous paper and using it only for very special projects. I had no idea how much fun these Anya's are to color, and this is my very first one, so I'm thinking I'll definitely need to be adding to my collection. I love the large size of the stamps, and they are just soooo incredibly adorable!! I actually brought my sewing machine out of hiding for some stitching on this card. I still need to perfect my techinque for that, but I'm sure Miss Madisyn will be fine with "less than perfect" stitching on her card. She loves to get mail, so I'm very excited to get this on its way to her!

Lorie, this is so sweet. I love how you shaded her hair, I love the sparlies on the tiara and wand, and I love the stitching!! You definately have to send this to Marie, she'll never believe this is your FIRST Anya! Great job! I'm sure Madisyn will be so thrilled to receive her very own princess!

I pass this coloring crown onto it's rightful owner!! LORIE!! I am in awe right now over your coloring! This looks like you used pencils and gamsol because the shading is soooo smooth! It is flawless! We're not worthy, we're not worthy! Seriously, we're not. :D
