Kit Cat Sunday & 10,000 hits!!!

Two posts in a day! Woohoo!! If you are looking for the Sweet -n Sassy Stamps Sunbeams Blog Hop, please scroll down to the next post.

7:51 p.m. - Okay, I just hit 10,000 on the visitor counter, so there'll be blog candy going up tomorrow. I missed my blogaversary, and this sounds like as good a reason as any to celebrate!! Check back for your chance at some great blog candy!!!!! Wooohooo!!!!!!

Well, today is the day for the November Kit Cat Club reveal. Our wonderful hostess, Michelle chose some of the most adorable images and themes for each of us, and I had a ball creating and coloring this card!! As if you haven't guessed by now, my holiday is Valentine's Day. Michelle sent me a kit with images, gorgeous DP, die cuts, and the fabulous stretchy velvet and organza ribbon. This stuff is not only gorgeous, but a dream to work with because it's stretchy, and fits around the paper as snug as a bug in a rug!

All I added to this card was the card stock, and some rhinestones. To quote my dear friend, Michelle, I gave these Sugar Nellie Manga girls some sassy love color. I wanted a little texture behind my image, so I shaded the center of the oval with a little ink, and roughed it up a bit with my stipple brush. I love to use the paper itself for added texture, and this is a wonderful velvety look that I thought would go well with that gorgeous velvety Pink Paislee ribbon (Tinsel Town) collection. Sometimes I get a little gel pen happy, but I love the sparkle it seems to add to images/frames, and I can't quite help myself, so humor me... okay? *WINK* LOL!!

I can't tell you how fun and supportive our Kit Cat group is, and you will want to hop along to Kelly, Catherine, Jeanette, Michelle and Susan's blogs to see what they've done with their kits! Thank you so much, Michelle for the inspirational kit! I can't wait to see what the Kit Cats will be doing next month. Stay tuned!!

Big Kit Cat Hugs to you!

Love Ya!

oh sca-reem! I love it! And your gel penning (is that a word?) is perfect. You colored her so perfectly and she looks so sweet waiting for her beau. You're going to have to share some hints on your white gel pen, mine never works like yours - maybe the brand?

Thanks for creating such magic with my few odds and ends Sweet Lorie! Hugs to you :)
