Peachy Keen Challenge #16

Good morning! It's a happy Tuesday again, because it's time for a Peachy Keen Challenge! I have to tell you that I had so much fun creating this page. First of all, it's a scrapbook page and not a card, and secondly, I tried my first ever Tear Bear! Oh my!! I'm hooked! This was so much fun, and I can't wait to try kitties, bunnies, and all the cute furry critters possible! Please don't be too critical of my work here, because this is definitely a technique that I will need to work at to perfect, but I'm sure ready to try!!! I just love their fuzzy little faces, and I REALLY fuzzed this fellow up, by taking my paper piercing tool and literally pulling the mulberry paper up to give him a well played with look.
Our challenge this week is to use any of the Peachy Keen face stamps on a card or project. I have so neglected my scrapbooking, and I'm making an honest effort to try and do more pages. A challenge to myself, you might say. Anyway, this is one more page down. For this little cutie's face I used the PK-136 Large Bear Facial Feautures, and the body was made with the PK 129 Large Tear Bear template stamps. Run, (DON'T WALK... RUN) over to the Peachy Keen Stamps new website and start shopping! You'd better have some paper handy, because your wish list will be a long one!!
Here is a closer look at my bear. I really wanted to use acrylic paint for the facial features, but sadly, my paint is so old that it's dried up. Next time, I'll have fresh paint to use, but for now, I had to make due with a white gel pen and markers. I think I can be much more precise with paint than a marker. We'll see!!
If you are looking for a new challenge to try, you have to give this a go. Please check out Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog for a never ending source of inspirational challenges. I promise you the rest of our amazing design team will have some more eye candy for you! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'm always blessed by your visits, and look forward to the next time. May God bless and keep you, and until then, happy stampin'!
Love Ya!
