Recipe Challenge Monday

Hello, and welcome!! It's late in the day, and I'm just now getting my post up for today. I've been busy, busy, busy with cards and creations, and the blog post had to wait until I was caught up. Well, here I am... All caught up!! Today we are challenged to share a recipe page that is calorie conscious. With the holiday season headed our way, it's a good time to look for small ways to trim down the calories, and this yummy pie would do just that.
I used some of my fabulous kitchen themed papers from Scrapbook Store At Your Door for the background of the apple. I would have like to had the seeds a little closer to the center of the apple, but it didn't work out with my recipe layout. Oh well... you get the idea. The apple was made by cutting circles from the desired color card stock, and various punches for the edges and seeds. Specifically, heart punches were used for the seeds and the blossom end of the apple, and the SU tab punch was used for the top by the stem. The stem was simply cut freehand. Pretty quick and easy, and I like having one of those once in a while.
Thanks for stopping by today, and I wish you a glorious evening! May God bless and keep you and yours!
Love Ya!
