Comfort Food Recipe Challenge

Good day to you, and WELCOME!!  Today is recipe challenge day at The Recipe Challenge Blog, and we're pulling out all the stops and sharing comfort foods.  Be sure to check out what the rest of the girls have prepared for you.  There are so many wonderful comfort foods, but I have to admit that MY ultimate comfort food is potatoes.  Oh, my goodness they should be a food group all their own!!  This is one of my favorite potato recipes, and one that we often make at Easter time, because it's paired so well with the traditional Easter ham.
For today's challenge, I used some of the yummy Sugar Rush paper from Basic Grey, and those adorable fork and spoon brads that can all be found at The Scrapbook Store At Your Door.   The country shelf image is from The Stamping Boutique, and the recipe card itself comes from Sweet -n Sassy Stamps.  I added some black gingham ribbon from Stampin' Up!, and the buttons from my stash for a little more of a homespun touch to this card.  I love the warmth of this card, which is a comfort unto itself.

Thanks for stopping by today.  As always I'm thrilled that you could spend some time here, and I wish you many hours of happy stamping!

Love ya,

Wow Lorie - I love your recipe card! Great stamped image and it goes so beautifully with those cutlery brads. I just bought the brads myself - now I need the stamp! Warmest wishes, Lesley
