Busy Beauties Boutique Release Day!!

Good morning!  I have a special card to share with you today, in celebration of a special event.  Yes, today is release day at The Busy Beauties Boutique.  There are some fantastic new images being released, and you're going to want to have them all!!  My card is made with the newly released Sailor Gal image, and my color scheme follows along with the current challenge at the Busy Beauties Creation Station.  For this  challenge we are asked to use the colors red, and or blue.  You can use either color, or both colors.  Your colors can be the main focus of your creation, an accent color, or whatever you choose.  Just make sure it's there somewhere.  Head on over to the BBCS, as the very generous Miss Carolyn is offering a free digi for you to play with.
I colored my Sailor Gal with Copic markers, and used some of this gorgeous Graphic45 designer paper that I found at my LSS.  The stitched and polka dotted grosgrain ribbon comes from Stampin' Up!, and the Prima flower embellishments are accented with pearl dew drops.  The embellishments are finished off with some small red Dew Drops along the side and top of the image panel.   The amazing sketch for this card came from the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge.  We'd love to see what you come up with using red and or blue, and you have the chance to win a $10.00 gift certificate from the Busy Beauties Boutique just for playing along at the Busy Beauties Creation Station.  Hop on over there for links to all the design team blogs.  The inspiration you'll find there will keep you happily inspired for hours!!!

It's such a pleasure to have you join me today!  May you have a day filled with many blessings, and lots of happy stamping!

Love ya,

Wowzers, Lorie, this is fabulous! I love it! Your papers are so perfect with this and you colored her oh so cute - fabulous job. I'm working on mine, but it's sure going to be dull compared to yours and Carolyns' cards.
