Recipe Challenges

Hello, and happy Monday!  I have a couple of recipes to share with you today for the challenge over at The Recipe Challenge Blog.  My first recipe card is for the budge friendly challenge.  With this challenge, you're to find and share a meal or main dish that is budget friendly.  This skillet chicken and rice dish is fast, easy, delicious, and of course easy on the wallet, as well as being yum, yum, yummy!!!  Inside the flower you will see that I put a little reminder to myself that this recipe only cost $8.91 for the entire meal.  It'll be interesting to see if that's still the case in a few years!  I used Basic Grey Cupcake paper with all the numbers on it, which I thought was really appropriate, the paper flower, which was white and I colored with my Copic markers, and the Take A Bite Out Of Life sentiment.  All of these can be found at Scrapbook Store At Your Door.  I also get all my Copic markers from Julie at Scrapbook Store At Your Door.  I joined the marker club that Julie hosts, and I look forward to new Copics every month.  It's like Christmas, I tell ya!  Follow the links to the store, and shoot Julie an email to find out all the details.
The second card I have to share is from last week's challenge, which was to share a recipe for your favorite cleaning solution.  Well, this one is my all time favorite glass cleaner, and I use it all the time.  My stove has a black glass top, and is impossible to keep clean with anything other than this cleaner.  It works like a charm!  No streaking, or grease is ever left behind, and it steralizes everything as well!  The perfect cleaner in my book!!  I brought out some more of that wonderful Basic Grey paper for this card, as well.
Thank you so very much for stopping by today.  I wish you a blessed day filled with everything you love, including happy stamping!

Love ya,

Those are both great recipes.... I am definitely giving the cleaner a try! My DS won't eat anything that is touching, so the chicken one isn't in the books when he's home...lol!

I love your recipe cards and I'm happy to see one again! Adorable and amazing.

I'm actually thinking about making myself a book of my favorite recipes. You're an amazing inspiration!

Wow! How cool is that?!? A recipe for glass cleaner! I love that last week's challenge was a non-edible recipe challenge. And this is awesome!
And your recipe for this week is so yummy too. I love that you added up the cost on the flower. So creative!
Brilliant as always!
Love ya!
