Ginger Wreath and a WINNER!!!

Good afternoon, and happy Tuesday!!!!  I FINALLY got my project finished  that I was working on while visiting Peachy Keen Headquarters in Green Bay, WI last week. Did I EVER have fun painting these little ginger people, BUT I wouldn't be honest if I didn't tell you that I really struggled with them, because I hadn't touched a paint brush since I was in Green Bay, and helped Kathy paint the larger set in July.  I REALLY need to paint more, so it's a little easier for me!!  ;-)  With that being said, though, I really am happy with how they turned out, even though I constantly compare mine to Kathy's beautiful works of art.  I can only aspire to be HALF as good a painter as she is, but it's good to have aspirations, right?  She's such an awesome painter, and I could watch her work for hours!!!
These smaller chipboard versions of the gingers currently available at Peachy Keen Stamps will be available soon, if they aren't already listed, so be watching for those.  They are so much fun to paper piece and the perfect size.  One good thing about owning your own stamp company and manufacturing your own stamps is when you decide you want a stamp for something, you just have Dave make it.  That's what we did with these.  Kathy decided it would be easier to stamp the faces, and VOILA... one day later, stamps appeared out of know where!  That place is magic, I'm tellin' ya!!!!!  LOL!!!  Now you'll have the option to purchase custom made (larger size) face stamps for your gingers.  After a trip to Hobby Lobby for a wreath and filler, I was ready to start putting my creation together.  This is so stinkin' cute, I don't know if I can stand to put it away until it's actually time to decorate for Christmas!!
Oh, and before I forget, I need to announce the winner from the PKS Mini Release/Country Bumpkin Blog Hop.  The lucky winner of the $15 Gift Certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps is commenter

this wreath turned out so AWESOME! I had fun shopping with you for the wreath goodies too. Man, my Mom would go over the moon for something like this! I'm thinking I need to order that kit with the faces. I just don't think I can make a wreath half as awesome as yours!
