Grab your favorite beverage and relax with us for a few minutes as you take in the talents of our team, and be sure to leave comments along the way for a chance to win all four sets in this release!  That’s right!!  One lucky person who hops and comments with us today will win all four of these sweet stamp sets!   Winner will be announced on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog tomorrow. Thanks for joining us today and ENJOY THE HOP!!!
You’ll find the complete blog hop order on The Peachy Keen Stamps Blog should you happen to get lost along the way.
I had a lot of fun with the card I'm sharing with you today.  Working with great stamps like these, make it pretty hard NOT to have fun!!
I colored this adorable Faceless Chicken with my Copic Markers.  I added some sparkle to those cool shades with a Spica Black Glitter Pen.  The cool shades, chicken wire background and sentiment are from some of the new sets that are available TODAY on the PKS website.  Stop by there to see ALL of what's new, and what we're so excited about!  The patterned paper is some from my hoard of Daisy D. paper, which is no longer available for sale.  I'm going to be so sad when I use all of this up, because I LOVE it!!   I stamped the chicken wire background right over the patterned paper, which gave it a different effect.
The doily was cut with my Sizzix doily die that I purchased from Stampin' Up!, and the sentiment was cut with the banners dies from Stampin' Up! as well.  For embellishment, I added the sequins and ribbons which are a great contrast to the shabby theme of the rest of the card.  I think that about wraps up this hop!
Thanks for hopping with us today!
Have a wonderful day and happy stamping!!!

SVG Cutting Files & PKS Blog Hop

GOOD MORNING!!

Welcome to Day #2 of our Blog Hop/Cross Promotion with Peachy Keen Stamps and SVG Cutting Files.  It's sure been fun, and we've enjoyed sharing all these wonderful creations with you!    Here's the card I created for today's festivities.  For this sweet card, I used the "Cute As Can Bee" cut file from SVG Cutting Files.  The base of my card is another great cut file from SVG Cutting Files, called Scalloped Open Card Base.

I am so happy with how this turned out.  For the face of this sweet little lady, I used the new PK-1200 Moodies Face Assortment stamps, and the PK-195 Honey Sentiments, both from Peachy Keen Stamps.  I cut everything with colored card stock and did some shading with both sponges and Copic markers, EXCEPT for the hair.  The hair was cut with (white) X-Press It Blending Card so that I could color and shade it with my Copics.  The honeycomb is a Sizzix embossing folder, and the paper I used for that is Core'dinations (kraft core) card stock.  I sanded the embossed edges lightly and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.   I took some patterned paper scraps and punched little hexagon shapes to fit inside the embossed hexagons, and as a backdrop for this sweet little bee, I used the same patterned paper scraps to cut a circle and scalloped circle with my Spellbinders dies.  The scalloped edge along each side of my card is done with a Stampin' Up! punch and the ribbon is also from my Stampin' Up! stash.  I finished this card off with a little bling on her antennae, and down the side of the card.  I ♥ HER and she is indeed as cute as can bee!!

Now, this wouldn't be a blog hop if we didn't have some prizes for ya, and we've got that covered!!  Both Peachy Keen Stamps and SVG Cutting Files are giving away a $35 Gift Certificate for each day of the hop!  THAT'S a total of FOUR $35 Gift Certificates that you could win!  All you need to do is leave a comment to be entered to win, but since we don't know which designer will be choosing a winner from their comments, you'll need to comment on each participating blog each day.  THAT'S pretty darned easy, though, and especially considering all the FABULOUS creations that you get to see along the way from BOTH design teams!!  Below, is a complete list of stops for Day #2 of our hop, just in case you should happen to get lost along the way.

Royal Wedding Blog Hop

Good morning!  Welcome to The Royal Wedding Blog Hop!!!!  Today is the special day for Prince William and his Princess, Kate, and we're celebrating right along with them with this wonderful blog hop.  Our theme, of course is weddings, fairy tales, and love.  Sounds good, right?  Well, I assure you that you haven't seen anything yet!  There are some truly amazing artists on this hop, and you're going to be thrilled with their creations.  So, let's get started, shall we?  If you arrived here from my sweet and talented friend Viv's blog, then you are hopping along in perfect order, but if you just happened along, you're going to really want to go back to the beginning, where Heidi kicks off this fabulous event on her Got Scraps Blog.  A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Heidi for organizing this hop!!!!!!!  There will be LOTS of inspiration, and maybe even some prizes along the way, so hurry and get your hop on!!!!  ;-)

Okay, so I have to admit that it took me a while to find any card making mojo at all.  I've been MIA for a few days, because my grandma is sick and in the hospital, and I haven't made a single card in over a week!!!   That hasn't happened in a long time, let me tell ya!  It feels great to be doing some crafty work.  For this card, I used one of The Scrapping Cottage's Cottage Cutz Frame 1 Die, cutting two.  One in black and one in white.   Since this is a royal event,I chose to use up some of this amazing bling from Peachy Keen Stamps to make a jeweled background.  A crown jewel background, if you will.   The sentiment comes from the Cottage Impressions Valentine's release.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark, and heat embossed it with some black embossing powder.  Some strategically placed rhinestones, a couple of  stick pins, (These remind me of a scepter) and big organza bow, finish off this royal card.   Your next stop will be at the amazing , sweet and talented Janice's blog.  Below is a complete list of stops for this blog hop, should you happen to get lost along the way.

I do have a bit of blog candy to offer up for this special day.  One commenter from this post will receive the following:
Sizzix In Bloom stamp set set of (12)
1 pkg. (4) Heart Ribbon Slides
1 pkg. (3) 1 Yd. Spools Marcella Ribbon
1 pkg. (8) Black & White Pebble Clips by Making Memories
1 K&Co. Tiara/Love Light Up Sticker set (This is so cool!)
1 K&Co. Frippery Pendant Necklace kit to personalize your own jewelery to commemorate
this special day.  This kit is very appropriately called "Katie".

Just leave a comment on this post, and I'll draw a winning number on Sunday morning.  Be sure to leave me your contact information, so that I can get in touch with you when you win!!!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us today.  May God bless and keep you today and always, AND  bless you with lots of happy stamping!!!
