The Birthday Queen

Happy Sunday friends! I'm so happy to share some of the pictures of my Granny celebrating her 87th birthday yesterday. We had such a good day, and she was so cute. She is pictured here with the flowers Grandpa gave her for her birthday. I don't know who is more proud of these beauties...Granny, or Grandpa. We literally have to carry them from room to room, so she can enjoy them, and should you happen to forget to bring them with you, no worries, because she will remind you!!! :-D This woman is one of the sweetest people to bless this glorious earth, and I cherish each and every moment spent with her. She really enjoyed her day, and loved her tiara and queen banner. What a gift this special day was for all of us. We enjoyed a wonderful cookout (rain and all), along with the love and fellowship of family, and we can't wait to do it all again next year!!

A close up shot of our queen. What a gorgeous smile!! We are sooooooo lucky!!! I did spend some time on Friday night and Saturday finishing up my niece Madisyn's birthday invitations. My sweet sister, Wendi, did help finish them by printing and stamping the inside, and old forgetful me failed to get a picture of the inside. For that, we followed up the Once Upon A Time with...It Was Madisyn's Birthday, along with all the deets about where, and when. I also stamped the adorable Princess Anya from The Greeting Farm, to include on the inside for all Madisyn's cousins and friends to color. My Princess Anya stamp was a blog candy win from my friend Kadie. I chose that stamp specifically to use for projects for my nieces. THANKS, KADIE!!!!!
Here's a close up of the invitation.

Thanks for popping in today. I've been working on a card for the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge and I will have that to share with you tomorrow. It's a little late, but with all the birthday preparations and celebration, I've been happily preoccupied! Have a glorious evening, and may our good Lord bless and keep you.
Love ya!
