Sassy Stampers Stamping Fun

I'd like to share the projects from my Jefferson City Sassy Stampers Club with you. We met on Monday night, and other than a lot of rain early in the day, it was a glorious and beautiful day. We had some good food, fabulous fellowship, and lots of happy stamping putting this card and recipe page together, and I hope you enjoy our efforts!! This card is a case from the fabulous blog of Jill Hilliard. I love Jills blog, and enjoy her crisp clean style of stamping, as well as all the wonderful projects she creates using Stampin' Up! product. This was a quick and easy card showcasing use of the Big Shot with both the Top Note Die, and the Texture Plates. It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but IRL the Texture Plates are a very nice touch. This particular plate is one of Stampin' Up'!'s exclusive backgrounds, and they are such a bargain!! You get three double sided plates (6 different backgrounds) for only $11.95! I thought that was a steal!!!!! The Top Note Die is also a Stampin' Up! exclusive, and it is my all time favorite! There are so many uses for this thing, and the creative projects using it just keep coming. I chose to use the wonderful Parisian Breeze Specialty paper for the purse, and added those gorgeous corduroy buttons for the snap. The sentiment is a sneek peek from one of the level three hostess sets from the new catty. I promise you're going to LOVE the new Stampin' Up! catalog! It's one of the best yet, in my humble opinion. This was truly a quick card, and I just love my purses, so I had to try this technique out with the girls, and I think they liked it too!
Our 6x6 recipe page this month is a bright and cheerful page that went so well with the Fruit Pizza recipe submitted by our hostess Geana Godsy. The Tart and Tangy stamp set is so much fun to use with the markers, and we tried out the rock and roll technique with the orange slices. That's a great technique to use for getting more than one color on a stamp without the markers.

Our group of Sassy Stampers share a closeness and love for stamping together that is unsurpassed. They are a wonderful bunch of supportive friends, and I'm so thanful to God for bringing and keeping us all together. It's truly a blessing beyond words to be in the company of this amazing group of women! Stamp on Sassy Stampers...STAMP ON!!!!
Much Love To You All!!

Lorie these are fabulous projects. WHat a great idea to make a purse out of the top-notch die and the recipe card is really cute.

Oh, Lori, were you in all that rain up there? It got pretty severe on a couple of days. Branson got the tail end, but it was enough!

Both of your projects are beautiful! I like your use of the Nestie for the purse and the recipe page is delicious!
