Monkey Around In The Morning!

I'm guessing that today's post title probably got your attention. Heheheheh!! Sorry, but I just couldn't resist. Our challenge for the Recipe Card Challenge today was to use a character with our recipe. Julie gave us several examples, but when I saw "monkey" mentioned at the end of her suggestions, I immediately thought of this cute little punched monkey that I'd seen in a You Tube video by Heather Summers. Thanks Heather, for a wonderful tutorial!! All of the paper in this project can be found at the Scrapbook Store At Your Door. I love the colors of the rich and deeply textured card stock, and the DP is from Basic Gray's Porcelain line. This little guy just had to have a belly button, so I added that with a gold eyelet from the 350 piece Assorted Metallic Embellishment Pack, also from at SSAYD. I hope you can find the time to play along with the challenges on the Recipe Card Challenge Blog. Each week there are some fabulous recipes along with wonderful ideas about how to pull them together into a beautiful recipe page. Don't monkey around... You really should go check it out right now!
I'm off to Jefferson City today for our stamp club meeting, where we're doing... You guessed it... another recipe page. This one will be for corn salad. A YUMMY Paula Deen recipe. I'll have that page to share with you later in the week.
Have a glorious day, my stamping friends. May you be surrounded by everything you love on this beautiful Monday. Happy Stamping!!
Love Ya!

So cute I can hardly stand it!

Now if someone could just tell me what a 12-cup fluted pan is, I'd be making me some monkey bread! :D
