Happy Tuesday dear friends! I hope this finds everything just "peachy" in your corner of the world today! It's a peachy day here... A Peachy Keen Day, that is! Time for another wonderful challenge, and this week, it's a sketch challenge. I couldn't let the summer go by without making a card with Mr. Boogie Board Max, here. Isn't he a sweetie? He's ready to hit the beach. I love that tousled hair of his, that sweet face, and those adorable toes in the sand. What a cutie!! I put this card together with my nephew in mind who has a birthday soon. I think he'll like it. Please be sure to check out all the wonderful DT creations on the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog, and why not play along with us. Some of my talented stamping friends played along last week, and it was wonderful to have them share all of their creative talent. Let's see what you can do with this week's challenge!!! There are always prizes to be won, so come on over!!!!!! I colored Max up with my ink pads and an aquapainter/blender pen, and I kept the bling pretty low key. No bows, or ribbon, but I did think I could get away with some buttons for Tanner's birthday card. I still felt it was missing something, so I added the handstitching, and that completed the picture for me. I really do find that to be such a relaxing thing to do in the evenings! My sweet friend Kadie has inspired me to try more of it, with all her beautiful creations, and I'm thrilled that I don't have to drag my sewing machine out.
Well, friends, summer is waning, and we'd better enjoy these beautiful and hot days while we have them. My card making is really wanting to take a turn toward Autumn and Winter creations, and before you know it, they will be here!!
I'm so happy you could stop by today, as always I'm thrilled to have you. I wishing you a beautiful day filled with things you love. May our Lord bless and keep you, and give you happy stamping!
