Budget Friendly Recipe Challenge

Good morning!  Is it Monday already?!?  Goodness, where do the weeks go?  It seems to me they just fly by!!  Today I've got another Recipe Challenge for you, and this one is certainly one that everyone will be inspired by.  By a budget friendly challenge, we mean that you can take this challenge as an opportunity to use up a lot of your scraps of paper, pretties, and embellies to put your card together.  The same goes for your recipe.  Share one that puts to good use something that otherwise might just be pitched.  I thought this recipe for cheese souffle, which was given to me by a friend would be the perfect one to share for just that.  How many times are there just a few slices of bread left in the bag that are a little less than fresh, and get pitched, when they could be made into something delicious for dinner.  This is a fast, easy and completely yummy dish that can be made without a lot of fuss, and with ingredients that most everyone always has on hand.

I had two pieces of this wonderful paper from Scrapbook Store at Your Door left from other projects that I thought would work nicely for this. I dug around in the ribbon jar for the red gingham scraps you see here.  The black pearls are the last of some I've been creating with for a while, and of course the little Bon Appetit was stamped on scrap white card stock, as well as  the tag being punched with scraps of black.  The stamp set is called Compliments to the Chef, and is from Stampin' Up!, and was colored with my Copic markers, which can also be found at SSAYD.   I think that pretty much does it for this one!  What a great project to help you get rid of some of the "extras" you might having lying around!  Be sure to check the Recipe Challenge Blog for all the fabulous creations from the rest of the design team, then take all that inspiration, and begin creating your submission for this challenge.  I'd love to see what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by today, and have a glorious day!  Happy Stamping!!

Love ya,
