Well, it's the first Sunday of the month, and you know what that means? Yep! Time for another Kit Cat Challenge. Our January Kit came from my sweet friend Jeanette, and was a loaded with wonderful goodies to play and create with! I cut this scalloped card with my Cricut Expression using my new Wild Card cartridge. The image was of course colored with SU inks and an aquapainter, and I had such a hard time deciding which wonderful paper and embellishment to use, so after much deliberation, I decided to use them all! I actually got everything in except a larger button like the pretty glittery one shown here. That's it! I used all the rest of the goodies Jeanette included in the kit for this card.
Now, can I tell you about the snow? The snow is actually styrofoam. Can you believe it? Jeanette took two styrofoam balls and rubbed them together to make the snowfall! How clever is that? I was so impressed, and thought it was such a fun element to add texture and interest to a card or scrapbook page.
Thanks for stopping by today, and be sure to check out the blogs of Jeanette, Kelly, Susan, Catherine, and Michelle, to see how what they've created with their kits. Have fun, and happy hopping!
Love ya,
