Motivate Me Monday Challenge

Good morning!  I hope this happy Friday finds you ready for another challenge, because there's a new challenge in town, and it's sponsored by Sweet -n Sassy Stamps.  Motivate Me Mondays will be hosted by one of the talented Sweet -n Sassy Design Team members every Monday, and it will be alternated between Papercraft Planet, and SNR Card Universe.  Just go to the Sweet -n Sassy group page, and click on the Motivate Me Monday thread.   This past Monday our hostess was the ever so talented Jennie Harper, and the challenge was let it snow.  You have until 10 a.m. every Friday to upload or link your creation in the MMM thread for a chance to win a great prize.  There are even early bird prizes for those who are REALLY motivated!   The next Motivate Me Monday Challenge will be held on Papercraft Planet on Monday, January 18th, and will be hosted by the talented Tracy Vinson.  Stop by and let our Sweet -n Sassy designers help motivate your Monday!!

This is what motivated me this Monday.  Well, the wonderful let it snow theme, AND my first time using Copic markers.  I have to say I've quickly learned to LOVE them.  I'm still a watercolorist at heart, but I love the quick dry, smooth application of Copics, and I've been busy coloring for days.  Little Cocoa the mouse is a digi download from the Sweet -n Sassy digi store, and there you will find lots of adorable images with Cocoa up to all kinds of fun things.  After coloring Cocoa, I cut him out, and popped him up on dimensionals over a Top Note die cut with SU designer paper, and card stock.  I did a little handstitching around the die cut piece, and ran the white card stock  through my Cuttlebug with the snowflake embossing folder.  I finished this card off with some satin and organza ribbon, and that suh-weet sentiment.

Be sure to stop by Paper Craft Planet next Monday for some fun, friends, and fabulous inspiration!  Thanks joining me today, and please come back soon!  Wishing you a happy weekend, and happy stamping!

Love ya,

Love this Lorie! Your coloring is fabulous, I {heart} my Copics so much...I had to stop buying them because I kept thinking how much it will be when they need to be re-filled. Yikes! Love the gingham paper, so sweet.

WOWZA! Lorie, this card is just adorable. I love how perfectly layered it is, and how cute is that little mouse peeking up over the teacup? You must give ME a tutorial on Copics as I have tried (with much effort) over the last few months, and just can't seem to catch the hang of it. Can't believe this is your first crack at it! I'll stick with my Prismas for now! Again, amazing, I just love love love it!!!
