It's A Busy Challenge Friday!!

Good morning, happy Friday, and BRING ON THE WEEKEND!!!!  It's a busy, busy day here at The Thinkin' Spot, and it's a day full of challenges.  First up, I have my project for the Easy Craft Projects Challenge. This really was an easy little basket to make.  You can find a complete tutorial for making it, here .   I used Fairy Cynthia at Easter digi from The Stamping Boutique for this basket, and she was colored with Copics.  I edged the little box with  K&Co. paper from my scrap bin, and some white eyelet paper made with my Martha Stewart lace edge punch.  I colored  half pearls with a pink Copic marker to embellish the handle, crimped  paper shreds for Easter grass, and that's that!  Wouldn't these make cute little place cards for Easter dinner, or a nice little treat for a friend?
My second project today is a card that I made for the Sukkersott Challenge Blog.  Be sure to stop by their blog and check out the fabulous sketch.  If you play along and upload your creation, you could win a prize from the weekly sponsor, who this week, just happens to be Sweet -n Sassy Stamps.  I used the just released Beary Sweet Cocoa digital stamp from Sweet -n Sassy Stamps.  Little Cocoa has become quite the popular fella in many stamping circles, and I have to admit he is one of my favorites!!  I'm always excited to see what he's up to, or going to be hiding behind next.  He's such a cutie!!!  Cocoa was colored with Copic markers, and the Sublime Strawberry DP in the background is a fantastic find from The Scrapbook Store At Your Door.  It's  just perfect for this image.  Embellishments for this card are assorted Prima flowers, 1 red rhinestone,  and stitched grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up!.  The scalloped border under cute little Cocoa was punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
Now on to my final card for today.  This one was created for the Friday Sketchers Challenge Blog, and they've provided a great sketch to play with this week.  Once again, Sweet -n Sassy Stamps is sponsoring this challenge, so play along for a chance to win a great prize!!   You can't go wrong when you've got a chance to win free images!  That's just too good to pass up!!  This card was made with another new digi to be found in the SNSS store.   This Milton Reading digi stamp was just perfect for me to play with using the feather blending technique with my Copic markers.  Oh my!  What fun that is!!   The designer paper is from Basic Grey's Sugar Rush collection, and can be found at The Scrapbook Store At Your Door.  I used pink grosgrain ribbon, embossed Prima flowers, and half pearls colored with Copics for embellishments, and the sentiment was stamped and punched with products from Stampin' Up!.   I entered little Milton here, in the Copic Blogaversary Celebration Challenge for the feather blending technique.  Whew!!  I think I'm about challenged out!!!  LOL!!  Seriously, this is waaaaay too much fun, and I love it!!!
Whew!  That's a lot of info for one post!!  It is my hope that you have been inspired here, and will find time to play along with these wonderful challenges.  As always, I'm so happy you could spend some time with me today!  I wish you a glorious day filled with everything that you love, and of course, lots of happy stamping!  Be sure to check back tomorrow when I'll have a card to share with you for the Sweet Stop Challenge.

Love ya,
