I can't wait to see all the wonderful birthday themed goodness that there's sure to be in store for us!!
My card today was made with the Fan-tastic digital stamp from the Paper Pretties store. I printed the image at 3x5 inches and colored her with my Copics. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the leaf panel, and filled in around the leaves with my Versamarker to darken the background and make the leaves pop. The patterned paper is from a stack that I got at my LSS on Saturday, and comes from Jenni Bowlin's Family Tree collection. I LOVE the vintage look of this paper pad, and while paper is one of the LAST things I need, I couldn't pass up the great sale they were having at my LSS. I was teaching a Copic class, and was worried everything would be gone by the time I was ready to shop., because they were celebrating their Spring Open House and had 40% off of ALL their scrapbooking supplies! Is that awesome, or what? Now you know why I couldn't pass it up, and thankfully there was plenty left for me. ;-)
I added some pearl pins to the stitched grosgrain ribbon to mimic the look of the hair accessories on the image and hand cut the computer generated sentiment. I hope you like it!! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a blessed day filled with happy stamping!

BEAUTIFUL!! All of the extra details like coloring to make the embossed leaves pop and adding the stick pins really make a huge difference in turning a pretty card into artwork.
This is so cute! Beautiful coloring and colors.
Hi Lorie
Wow just LOVE how you have coloured in your image so very, very clever! Also love that you used the ink on the embossed panel to make the leaves pop - have to remember that one!
