A Hanna Challenge...A Sketch Challenge...It's all Good

In keeping with my plan for inspiration, I'm still trying to participate in as many challenges as I can, and when you can combine challenges, then that makes it even better! This card came about from both the Hanna Stamps #56 challenge to use metal somewhere on a card, and the weekly sketch challenge #216 on SCS. I colored this For the Soul Hanna quite some time ago, and brought her out of hiding for this card. I loved this DP which is from Daisy D, and included many coordinating patterns, so I decided to use some of that gorgeous paper to paper piece a skirt for Miss Hanna. I added a bit of shading to my paper piecing to give it some dimension. I was anxious to tear in to my new Soho Designer Hardware from SU, and this was the perfect chance. The decorative eyelet matches the colors in the DP perfectly! Yay! I love it when that happens!!! I had a blast putting this card together, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Have a beautiful day, and may the good Lord bless and keep you!
Love ya!
Lorie

OMGoodness! What a beautiful card, Lorie!!! The piecing is awesome and I am loving the DP you used - great colors! Is that the new hardware that the ribbon is coming out of? Love it!

Lorie this is sooo gorgeous. You have been busy even in your slowed down state. Everything about this card is so well matched with everything else. I'll be back to comment on the rest of the cards a little later.
