House Mouse Monday Challenge

How about another challenge card? As I told you a few posts ago, I'm going to use these challenges to keep my creative mojo going, and so far, so good. This is for the House Mouse Monday Challenge that I saw over on Carolyn's blog. The challenge for this week is to make a valentine and use one of the adorable House Mouse, Gruffie, or Happy Hopper images. Well, here is what I came up with. I got this wonderful Daisy D paper the other day at Ben Franklin. They had lots of pretty valentine themed paper, and it was hard to choose. I think I may have to go back for more. The hearts are little metal stickers that I picked up at the Dollar Shop. I used the silk flowers from my pretties kit and dyed them with my ink pads to match the colors of cardstock/paper I used, but I'm not thrilled with how they turned out. The colors seem a bit off to me (too dark). I really need to lay in a good supply of primas, then I wouldn't have to worry about trying to dye them to match. Thanks for stopping by today, and may the good Lord bless and keep you. Have a beautiful day and HAPPY STAMPING!!

This is divine!!! I almost used this image on my card, but I couldn't find it...I think I let a friend borrow it to ink it up, at least I hope so. You colored these sweeties to perfection, and I think the flowers look marvelous!!! You sure know how to spread love and cheer!!! This card totally lifted my spirits and brightened my day!!! I feel all warm and fuzzy inside:o) I love it!!!

Hugs!
Carolyn
