Thank you Deer Jim!

Good Morning and happy Thursday! Can you believe another week is almost gone? I don't know where the time goes, but it sure seems to be going fast!!! Today's card is one I whipped up with a card kit that my sweet friend Karen sent me. These card kits are awesome, and I'm tellin' ya they are a lifesaver!! I needed a masculine thank you card for my brother-in-law Jim who cut and delivered us a load of wood last Saturday. Boy, has it been nice to have that since it's been so cold the past few days. Jim is an avid deer hunter, and I bought this stamp set with hunters in the family in mind. It's a nice change of pace to do a few simply stamped cards. I love watercoloring images, but there is a lot of time and thought that goes into completing them. Sometimes it's nice to get back to the simplicity of this craft which is what made me fall in love with stamping in the first place. Thanks for stopping by today, and have a blessed day!

Love ya!
Lorie

I love this! It is very manly, but also peaceful, so I think it would be appealing to anyone. I really like your layers, the shading and the rough edges. Great card!
