SSS #15

Good morning! I hope you are excited and ready for another Sweet Stop Challenge, because today's card was made for the challenge posted last Saturday. As I've said so many times, challenges, and especially sketch challenges are such a help in bringing a card together when your creative mojo has gone on hiatus. I print these out, and save them in a notebook for times when I need a layout and don't have time to ponder it for hours as I sometimes like to do.This is the card I created from the SSS #15. I liked the use of the oval, in contrast to the block for the image. I used one of my favorite Sweet -n Sassy stamp sets, Chocoholic. There are so many cute images in this set, and some very sweet sentiments. A must have set for any chocolate lover! ...Like me!!!!
I got out the old Cuttlebug and added some embossing to the ovals, using the Bloom Dots, and Swiss Dots embossing folders. The photo didn't pick it up, but the whipped cream dollops are dazzled with Dazzling Diamonds glitter, and the cakes have a ganache frosting done with a layer of Crystal Effects for shine. I finished this off with alternating dew drops in chocolate and orange. I think this yummy card turned out well, and I thoroughly enjoyed putting together.
Thanks for stopping by today. It's a pleasure to have you join me, and I wish you a blessed and happy day filled with all that you love! God Bless!
Love Ya!

This is sooooo cute and delicious! I don't know if I could part with that many dew drops, but I love the effect! Great coloring as always!

Lorie, this is absolutely scrumptious!! Not only do I love the chocolate slices, but the ovals underneath them look like a whipped cream-covered butterscotch pie! I am ready for some yummy dessert! Beautiful!

Adorable! The card makes me hungry for some good chocolate. You are so talented with the SU markers - I bought the whole set and I haven't been able to color any where close to you.
I agree with another poster on your PK card to please demo how you use the SU markers!

I looked at this and my first thought was "yum!" These cakes look so real they make my mouth water. Love the polka dots on brown, too! Sentiment is just perfect.
