Recipe Challenge Monday

Good Monday morning, stamping friends! Today I have another Recipe Challenge to share with you. Our challenge this week is to create a page with a recipe fit for a formal dinner party. One of our favorites is prime rib, and this recipe is a combination of several that I have tried. During my 7 years in the restuarant/catering business, I worked with lots of different recipes for prime rib, and I took what I like the best about the variations, changed a few things, and made this one my own. This dry rub and technique works great with pork loin as well.

This gorgeous Ambrosia paper from Basic Grey can be found at the Scrapbook Store At Your Door, and I thought it was a beautiful choice for an elegant recipe. I faintly stamped the flourish background on the recipe by inking my stamp, stamping off on scrap paper, then stamping a second time onto my recipe card stock. I distressed the edges of the card stock, and patterned paper with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink, and I used a silver mini round clips to tie my ribbon to. Both the Tim Holtz ink, and mini round clips can be found at the Scrapbook Store At Your Door. I finished off this elegant page with the square rinestones for some extra bling.
