Monday Morning Card Show

Good Monday morning!  It's really been a busy weekend, because I intended to have this post ready for Saturday, but...  the best laid plans, right?  Anyway, my first card today is one I made with my Cottage Cutz Ice Cream Cone die from The Scrapping Cottage.  I love the large size of this die, and after I got it colored, I couldn't help but wonder how cute it would be to add some Peachy Keen faces to my ice cream scoops.  Well, as it turns out, it's pretty darned cute!!  :-)   The layout for this card is actually one of my own, and the sentiment is computer generated.  As usual, I cut the ice cream cone with white card stock and colored it with my Copic markers.

M second card today is made with the A Cocoa Kind of Christmas stamp set from Sweet -n Sassy Stamps.  Little Cocoa is always up to something, and in this image, he's getting ready for trimming the Christmas tree.  I followed the weekly sketch on Splitcoaststampers for this layout, and pulled out some of my neglected Daisy D holiday paper in very traditional colors for this card.  Sometimes it's just pretty hard to beat the traditional red and green for Christmas, and I think I try too hard to come up with something different.  This card makes me feel very nostalgic and happy, and I hope it makes you feel the same way.
I'm so glad you could stop by today.  Are you working on your Christmas cards yet?  I tell ya around here, one could become very confused, because I keep hopping back and forth between Christmas and Halloween!  Have a wonderful day, and happy stamping!

Love ya,

Super, super, super! Always a happy day when you see ice cream! :) Beautifully colored, as always! Btw, my dd15 went NUTS over your Cmas card in the SOTC swap that just came back - she stared at it for a long time, tracing the colors with her finger and just was awe struck. I sat back quietly just watching her, knowing in my heart and mind that I've done the exact same thing! You are truly gifted, my friend! xoxo
