Kit Cat Sunday

Good evening!  I sure hope you've enjoyed a blessed SONday!  Mine has been great, and very quiet.  Today, my grandparents are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary!  Isn't that unbelievable?  70 years living, loving, and working together.  We've enjoyed a nice day, and just finished a delicious dinner.  Now they're tuned in to one of their favorite TV programs, so I took a moment to make my post for the Kit Cat Sunday Challenge.  I apologize for not getting this up sooner.  My DS had use of my computer for a good portion of the day, moving programs from my computer to his, so I'm just now getting a chance to make my post.

The lovely Susan was our hostess this month, and she chose a whimsical theme, using this wonderful Summer Fairy digi, which I hopped over to The Greeting Farm to purchase.  Susan presented us with a little twist for this challenge, and included this 2011 day planner, which I chose to alter with all the amazing paper and embellishements she sent in the kit.  I covered the planner with this gorgeous K&Co. Que Sera Sera paper, and I used these wonderful silk and organza flowers, as well as the beautiful satin and organza ribbon, pearls, every one of the fore mentioned pretties was colored with a RV69 Copic marker to match the designer paper.  I used the silver cord that Susan included for the binding part of the book, and I tied that pretty crystal dangle, on the top, and I used the acrylic tag as a bookmark for my planner.  The HOPE charm was one of many that Susan sent for me to play with.
I LOVE to color large images, and below is a 4x6 version of the same pretty Summer Fairy that I colored, and my intention was to make a card with this one.  I will certainly have the opportunity to do that, because with all the wonderful goodies that Susan sent in this kit, I can make several more cards.  Both images were colored with Copic markers.

 Please be sure to visit Kelly, Jeanette, Michelle, and Susan to see what they've done with their wonderful Kit Cat Challenge goodies.  I know you will love what you see when you get there!!  Have a blessed evening, and I wish you lots of happy stamping!

Love ya,

First, big congratulations to your grandparents on celebrating their milestone anniversary!

Second, BE STILL MY HEART! This is pure whimsical lusciousness! It's Summer Fairy (aww!) and she's just gorgeous! And WOW, your Copic "dyed" flowers and ribbon look so ethereal! I love how you placed the little charms all over and tied the silver cord through the middle & created the tag bookmark! You've inspired me to go back and jazz up my planner! I'm so glad you enjoyed playing with my mish-mash kit, and I'm amazed at what you Kittens created with it! {HUGS}
