Peachy Keen Challenge #23

Good morning!  What a beautiful day!  The sun is shining, and it's a balmy 9 degrees in my neck of the woods today.  Brrrrrrr!  Perfect weather to think about Spring, gardening, and all the wonderful things that warmer weather brings.  This week, players for the PKS Challenge #23 are challenged to use green and yellow anywhere on the project,  include a 3-dimensional element (could be an image popped out, embellishment, ribbon, etc.), and your card/project must contain a stamped image.  Let us see what you've got by uploading your creations to the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog using Mr. Linky.  You have until March the 8th to upload your creation, and this time, the winner will recieve a $25.00 gift certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps.  No random winners with this challenge, though.  All entries will be judged based on original creativity, interpretation of the challenge, and quality of work.
These cute little peas make me think of early Spring gardens.  This stamp comes from the PKS Faceless Veggies One set, and I used the smallest of the Simple Sallies face stamps, also from PKS.  I played along with the Pink Elephant Challenge this week, which is where I found this fabulous sketch, and  I colored my image with my Copic markers, and popped it up on dimensionals.  The lattice border was done with the Martha Stewart lattice border punch, and I couldn't wind this card up without a little blingage, so I used a whole strip of yellow rhinestones to sparkle things up a bit.  Oh, and the paper!!  I almost forgot the paper!!!  It comes from K&Co., and I thought it was so perfect with the shiny embossed leaves that remind me of those first few leaves peeking up through a Spring garden.  I love to pull elements from the paper that tie in with the images I choose.  Like how the circles behind the peas kind of look like peas, KWIM?  Little subtle touches that bring all the elements of a card together.  Now THAT'S a good thing!!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a blessed day, and happy stamping!

Love ya,
