Recipe Challenge Monday - Romantic Dinner for Two

Good morning!  Welcome to Recipe Challenge Monday, where our challenge for this week is in celebration of St. Valentine's Day.  What better way to celebrate than with a romantic dinner for two with your sweetheart!  Here's a seafood recipe that is sure to be a hit.  If you're a fan of lobster, then you will love this delicious recipe with the fresh, crisp, and ever so subtle flavor of the citrus in the butter.  Yum, yum, YUMMO!!
I made this card using this beautiful checked DP from The Scrapbook Store at Your Door.  Of course it reminds me of a classic checkered tablecloth that you'd see in many seafood restaurants.  Isn't that little oven mit brad cute?  You can also find those at SSAYD, along with lots of other really neat kitchen and recipe related brads.  You really need to go check it out!  I just asked Julie to add some more of these babies  to my next order, because I know I'm going to use LOTS of them, and I don't want to run low on my stash!  Gotta have a back up, ya know?  The cute little lobster image comes from Peach Keen Stamps, and is illustrated by the talented Angelica Suarez, who also happens to be our fabulous and fun DT Coordinator.  She is so sweet, and talented, just like her mamma!! :-)  I've had this image colored since I got the set last summer, and have been waiting for just the right project to add him to.  This lobster recipe definitely fits the bill, although he doesn't look thrilled about it!!   I love his expression!  It's like... LOBSTER!?!... Say what??!!!!!  Please be sure to stop by The Recipe Challenge Blog to see what Ceal, Julie, Jesse, Caroline, and Cyndi have for YOU to cook up.

Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you have some special time set aside for a romantic dinner for two with your sweetheart.    Have a joyous day filled with blessings, and happy stamping!

Love ya,
Lorie

I love this LORIE!! You are such a talent! You have colored this little "rock lobster" to the nines! The dimension you gave him is out of this world! Do you know that RED is the hardest color to shade??!!.. that is if you are not LORIE SOUTHER! Great job my friend!! Lots of Love and HUGS!! Kathy
