A Spicy Recipe Challenge That's Just Peachy Keen

Good afternoon!  Have you had a chance to check out the Recipe Challenge Blog yet this week?  Well, if not, then you need to!  I'm a bit late in posting this week, but oh, so excited about all the spicy yumminess that you'll find there.  The girls have out done themselves this week, so  please be sure to check it out, and leave them some love to let them know how much you like their creations.   I used some of the fabulous paper from Scrapbook Store At Your Door, which  you'll find  in the Nana's Kitchen paper pad by DCWV.  The Take A Bite Out of Life sentiment can be found in the stamp section of Scrapbook Store At Your Door.  The hot pepper stamps are from one of Peachy Keen Stamps newest releases called  Faceless Veggies One.  I colored the peppers and the squares on the recipe card with my Copic markers.  The recipe card is a downloadable digi from Sweet -n Sassy stamps.
The second card I have to share with you today is one I made with the newly rereleased Hot Cocoa set from Peachy Keen stamps.  I was so happy when I found out that Kathy was bringing these stamps back.  I had seen cards made with them, and wanted them so badly, but then found out that they had retired.  I could hardly wait to ink them up!   This is my first card with these adorable stamps, and even though they are "Cocoa" stamps, I made a tea card.  I love my hot tea, and one of my favorite outings is to go to a little tea room close to Lake of the Ozarks here in Missouri.  It's quite a little drive for me to go, but a drive that I enjoy when the weather is good.  I can't wait for warmer and less snowy weather so that I can go again.  Maybe I need to send this card to my sister, so that she can make plans for a Saturday tea someday soon!  Sounds like a good plan to me!!
This image was colored with Copic markers, and cut with my nesties.  The patterned paper is from K&Co., and  the sentiment is from Sweet -n Sassy Stamps Warm Up stamp set.  The picture doesn't pick it up, but I painted the tea in the tea cup with some Crystal Effects to make it shiny.  I finished this card off with some Prima flowers and rhinestones, and a few accents with my white gel pen.  Thanks for checking in today.  I wish you a wonderful day, and happy stamping!  God Bless!!

Love ya,

Hot peppers and sweet tea! That's a combination :) I love both - your peppers are a perfect accent to your recipe card and your teapot popped Mrs. Potts singing from Beauty and the Beast straight into my head. Super stuff!

Love and hugs
