Good morning!! I'm making a quick post today. I've had this little guy colored up for a few days, and I'm just now bringing him out. This week, I participated for the first time in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. WOW!! Talk about huge!!!! There were around 500 participants last week, and when I added my link, there were well over 150 already this week!
You know, I've always heard it's best to let sleeping dogs lie, but I don't know about this cutie patootie!! He is indeed dreaming big. This adorable guy is part of the digital Doggy Days set by Deedee Anderson, and you can download it at Sweet -n Sassy Stamps. Hop on over there and download yours today!!

I watercolored this card with my SU inks and an aquapainter, which is my favorite way to roll with coloring images. The paper is from a Making Memories scrap pad that I've had tucked away for a while. I made this a 5x7 card, to accomodate the larger size image. I REALLY like coloring the large images, but I'm going to have to lay in a supply of large envelopes if I ever hope to mail all these babies out!

Have a glorious day, my sweet stamping friends! Happy stamping to you all , and please know that I love ya!!

Suply List

Paper: Mellow Moss, Brocade Blue, Making Memories Scrap Pad, Georgia Pacific White

Ink: Various SU inks for watercoloring

Stamps: Doggy Days from Sweet -n Sassy Stamps

Accessories: Brocade Blue Grosgrain Ribbon, Dew Drops, Oval Punch, Scalloped Oval Punch, White Gel Pen, Aquapainter/Blender Pen

I'll be sitting next to you Miss Lorie when the Sisterpalooza rolls around because you can teach me to leave highlights on my images! This looks like pencils and gamsol work Lorie....which I {heart} very much!

He's so cute! You have to "teach" me to water color. It looks like you just drew the little guy up real quick. I love it!

This is the absolute sweetest!! I was looking at this Mojo sketch on Monday and thinking about how it would take some pondering for me...you totally nailed it!! I always love your coloring, Lorie, you know that but you come up with the best ideas to add to your layouts too...like that dream bubble popped up with a bone in it!! Just perfect. And the sentiment to match. I love it also that you popped Doggy up against the background too. Great card!!!

Lorie, you and Sandra are going to have to teach us at sisterpalooza how to color like this. Amazing.

Super job with the watercoloring - esp. the blue background. Love it! Now wonder you are a DT diva! :D

This card is so cute! It makes me think of the quiet times when my 3 little "kids" are deep in dreamland! You did a great job with the layout and that big blue bow is gorgeous! I am so bow-challenged.
