Sweet -n Sassy Sponsors CPS...

Are you having a beautiful morning? What could make the day more beautiful than a gorgeous butterfly? Sweet -n Sassy Stamps is sponsoring the CPS (Card Positioning Sketch) this week. Here is a link to their blog, where you will find some wonderful cards made with this sketch. Please be sure to play along, and share your project. It's always so much fun to see all the different takes on the same sketch. I was very pleased with how my card turned out with this great sketch. I used some more of my DCWV Garden Party paper, and although the photo doesn't pick it up, the paper on the bottom of the card has glittered leaves. It's so gorgeous IRL! The stamps are SNSS newly released Beautiful Butterflies set. The details of butterflies in this stamp set are stunning, and the inspirational sentiments are perfect for making your cards extra special. I did some pretty heavy sponging with Tim Holtz's antique linen distgressing ink pad to give the entire card a more vintage feel. I even sponged the lattice made with Martha Stewart's lattice punch, and the flowers that I hand crocheted. I finished this Beautiful Butterfly off with some dazzling diamonds glitter and sparkly green rinestones over the eyespots on the wings. There's so much sparkle and glitter to this card, I wish I showed up better in the picture. It really is soooo very pretty.
