Sweet Stop Challenge #13

Good morning, and welcome to Sweet -n Sassy's Sweet Stop Challenge. You really should check out the sketch and play along. There are free digis at stake! I received this stamp set from Korin this week, and I was so excited to use it that I let the fact that this week was a sketch with a spin go right out the window. The spin was to do a Christmas card. Oh well! I'll have another one finished with a spin for reveal by Wednesday morning when our Jr. DT submissions will be posted. Like I need another excuse to make a card with these wonderful stamps.
This little hippo was just screaming to be paper pieced, so that's the direction I took him. Isn't he a cutie. I combined this sketch with the CC227 on Splitcoaststampers, which was to use black, white, banana, and lavender. I hope you enjoy my take on these challenges today! I so appreciate you taking the time to spend a little of your day here. I'm doing lots of stamping today, and some grocery shopping. Also celebrating the birthday of my oldest! As I said in a previous post...I can't believe my baby boy is 25 years old today!!!! Happy birthday, Tyler! I Love you forever!!!! ~Mom
And I love you... My stamping friends, too! Have a happy day!
Love Ya!

Your card is Way Too CUTE!!!

Yes, you're right about the paper piecing. I did the same thing with Elly for the Sheetload August challenge. Why color when there's paper!!!

By the way, Saturday, the 18th, was my son's birthday also.

The paper you chose is perfect! It's Subtle and it works. He's a little CUTIE coloured as ever, to perfection. You've captured the challenge wonderfully!
