Snowy Joy

Happy Tuesday morning!! I've got a little more Christmas in July going on today. I'm not one who gets really excited about Christmas this time of year, but I have to admit that when I saw these little Tubing Snowmen from Peachy Keen Stamps, I was pretty excited! Isn't that the cutest little smiling face? I just want to pinch those cheeks!!!! I had this image colored up, and I really wanted to use this little guy for the Peachy Keen Challenge #5, so I changed the sketch up a little. Be sure to hop over to the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog and add your name and card to the list of projects. There's free stamps and goodies at stake!! Get on over there...I can't wait to see what you do!!This was a chance to use up some of my retired SU paper from last year. I was so sad to see it go, becaues I LOVED the patterns, and the use of the Certainly Celery green, instead of the more traditional darker greens. The snowflakes are my large snowflake Sizzix die, and a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. For the sentiment, I chose to use another die, the Peace, Love, & Joy, and I simply cut the words apart. I added a good dousing of glitter to the edges of the snowflakes, and finished them off with a celery colored rinestone.
Here's a closer look, and show the sparkle a little better. I have to share with you that my stamp club met last night, and I had taken all my cards for the girls to look at. I sat them all out on a table, and they were so pretty all there together. Well, there was another stamp club meeting in the next room, and I looked up at one time and our room was full of people I didn't know looking at the card display. There were about 20 stampers introduced to some new stamp lines, so I'm hoping that will spark their interest and that they'll be doing some internet shopping very soon!!
Thanks for stopping by today! I pray you will have a blessed and glorious day! Happy Stamping!!
Love Ya!
