Let's Par-Tay!!!!

Hello and welcome to the Peachy Keen Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop!!!!!   Are you ready to party?  I sure hope so, because we've got some things to show you that are surely worth partying about!!   There are 15 stops along the way, and some amazing works of art for your creative inspiration.  So, if you arrived here from the amazing and talented Kim's blog, then you are hopping right along in perfect order.  If you just happend upon this hop, then you're going to want to go back to the beginning to the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and start there.  There are prizes up for grabs at every stop, so if I did my math right, that means there's 15 chances to win a free stamp set!!!  Woohoooooo, lets H-O-P!!!!  For my first project, I have this adorable little jar that's ready to be filled with a homemade gingerbread cookie mix, perfect for gift giving.  Below, I included an 8x8 recipe page with the recipe for the mix, as well as the recipe for the actual gingerbread cookies.  YUMMY!!!
Now, can we talk a little bit about this stamp set that I'm showcasing tonight?  Here we have the newly released PK-416 Lorie and Al Gingerbread stamp set!!  Well, as you can imagine, this set is very near and dear to my heart!  Never in a million years did I think that I'd ever have a stamp set named after me and my SUH-WEETIE Al, but lo and behold, here it is!!!!!!  After 7 years in the restaurant business, Allen and I have shared a beater or two.  We did a LOT of catering, and I made all the desserts.  Pies, cakes, homemade bread, rolls, you name it, and we made it.  There couldn't be a more perfect stamp set that would bring back the special memories of those 7 years working together, and feeding the masses.  Our hearts are truly touched by this, and we can never express enough thanks to Kathy and the whole Peachy Keen Family for such an honor!!!  WE LOVE YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH, and we both LOVE this stamp set!!!!!
Here is the 8x8 recipe page I made to go with the jar.  All of the patterned paper is from a Martha Stewart Christmas collection.  I used some of the new Americana Dimensional Paint Writers that can be found in the Peachy Keen Stamps store in a variety of colors for the icing on all the Al, and both Lorie's.  There is glitter sprinkled on top of the gingerbread girl on the jar, but it doesn't show up at all in the photo.  Cloudy, and rainy today, equals not so great in the picture taking department, but you get the idea.  I used some Martha Stewart baker's twine to tie the little potholders together and arrange them on the recipe page.  Of course everything was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Copics.

I will be giving away one of these stamp sets to one lucky commenter on this post.  I'll pick a winner first thing Monday morning, and there are only two things you need to do to have a chance to win.  First, be or become one of my followers, and second, leave a comment.  That's it!!  Now, you're ready to hit the next stop on this hop, which is the sweet and oh, so talented Heidi's blog.  Just click the button below, and it will take you right to her.  Should you happen to get lost along the way, here's a complete list of stops.
